South African entertainer, DJ Mariphosa, has acknowledged the indelible impact Nigerian superstar, Wizkid, has had on his career after walking away with the Best Collaboration award at the recent MAMA 2016.
DJ Mariphosa featured Wizkid and DJ Buckz on the hit single, Soweto Babyand the former took to his Instagram to admit that Wizkid had changed his life. “My leadership @wizkidayo Thank you for everything bro u change my life, i will never forget what u did for me its priceless now I understand y u so blessed AYO StarBoyWorldWide x New Money Gang”
Wizkid dominated at the MAMA 2016 after clinching the major awards on the night as he beat AKA, Black Coffee, Diamond Platnumz and Patoranking to the Best Male award.
He also went home with African Artist Of The Year beating Yemi Alade, Diamond Platnumz, Black Coffee and Sauti Sol.
The award was held on Saturday October 22, 2016 at the Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg, South Africa.
